A year ago or so,the 2020 state of Oregon football recruiting class looked to be one of the best we have seen in awhile. Some years,there are only 3-5 legit Pac-12 prospects we can count on,with a few sleepers who become very solid Power 5 prospects. This year was supposed to be different,8-10 players in the state of Oregon are Pac-12 level players. I'm pretty happy with how osu has done so far.
Osu has gotten Miller and Walling,and the only one I really wanted,besides them,was Alfieri,because I was hoping he became the beast that his older brother became at Stanford. The rest of the prospects who are committed to other schools,I think we can get equal talent at their position in California. If we get Newell,do we reallly need Jalen John? If Bolden commits,how big of a loss is Filkins or Starr? Bolden is blur,and has a high ceiling. Maybe we get a late bloomer from Oregon,but I'm content getting a couple top in-state kids,and filling in the rest of the class of high schoolers from Calif,Ariz,Hawaii,Texas,Wash,etc.
