The hole looks like they may have some serious depth issues on the DL. It was just announced that 4* freshman Rutget Reitmaier has left the team and he graduated and came in early for spring ball this year. Also Rex Manu who was expected to contribute in his third season is not competing in football this fall because of medical reasons. Apparently they had 18 scholarship players on the D line last year and about half of them will not be there for 2017: Heard (suspension/kicked off), Carriger (graduation), Manu (injured), Kirby (transferred), Prevot (graduation/suspension), Daniel (graduation), Maloata (suspension/kicked off.), Kaumatule (medical hardship) and Mafileo (injury retirement). With most thinking they would need the line to be very strong with a weaker and younger LB corp this may be interesting... Oh and FTD!
